League Format & Rule Summary

The U11+ programs consists of 1 practice per week (date/time determined by the coach after team placement) and 1 game per week (Saturday; possibly Friday night for U15).  Games take place throughout the city and include teams from all CMBA zones. The CMBA provides licensed officials for all games.

SoCal typically has 5 girls teams and 10 boys teams at each age level (U11, U13, and U15) and 3-5 teams for each gender at U18, so there is a team for everyone and every skill level, including beginners.

Community basketball provides a positive environment to learn and develop.  All community basketball zones and teams operate under a fair playing time rule, with the exception of the U18 Platinum division.
