Treasurer
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain all records of the organization, including financial records
- Manage all financial transactions of the organization; banking, cheque issuance, etc
- Receive invoices from Sports groups designated treasurers and issue cheques for payment/reimbursement
- Advise Sports groups of shadow balances
- Compile annual financial statements to be presented at the AGM
- Prepare and submit Society Annual Return form
- Together with the President, ensure compliance with Alberta Societies Act and AGLC Guidelines
- Attend SoCal Board meetings (usually once every 3 months).
